Only yesterday evening I discovered Fawkes Café, a new gem reminiscent of 1912 on Whyte, which has quickly captured my heart. The cafe's spacious, heritage building hosts a welcoming, diverse crowd, creating a vibrant atmosphere that resonates deeply with me. The donuts here are to die for and the decor vibes are unmatched! We have only been here twice so far, but finding out that their lobby area is dog friendly was also such a game changer. Being able to bring along our pup, especially on cold days, is a major win.

While not on my original itinerary, I am SO happy I popped in. I walked by it originally, then when I wasn’t sold on my dinner location’s dessert, I came back here ! You will find yourself transported into what I can describe as a Vintage Luxe coffee shop. It’s cozy, it’s thrifty and i’ts history. WOW are their treats good. I sat on a very comfortable brown leather couch and enjoyed a Toasted Coconut Cream Roll ($7.95) and an apple cider ($5). The cream roll is dairy free, nut free and vegan! Beautiful space, lovely atmosphere and delicious baked goods. My cortado was just okay but I still enjoyed it. I had a chicken club sandwich which wasn't a club because you have to pay extra for bacon so I guess it's just a chicken sandwich....??? It was tasty, though quite oily. I also had a cinnamon bun which was TRULY INCREDIBLE. expensive but the bun was enormous so it was worth the price. Also if you struggle with stairs it might be hard to come here - there's a step off the sidewalk and then a few stairs up to the cafe itself with no ramp. Pretty nice café, I really liked the vibe and decor, all set into the roaring 20s. The coffee was really good, they have couple roasts to choose from, even decaf and furthermore a wide range of cakes, most of them vegan, gluten free etc. From an European POV, one of the nicer cafés we’ve visited in Canada. Super friendly staff as well

This place has become one of my favorite cafe spots. The vibe is just incredible. There are many seating options that you can choose from. I typically have a london fog and a matcha latte, both of which are great. The sandwiches here are really nice as well. I love coming here to read, study, and just be busy writing on my iPad with a headphone on. The hours are the best part, i am not a big morning person so i love their hours since i usually come in the late afternoon or evening. Staff are always nice and friendly. Overall, i love it here.

Great coffee! The latte was delicious! I really like the roasty flavour of their espresso much less acidity than some other places. The front area of their cafe is pet friendly. It’s sort of separate from the other larger area for those who don’t want to be around pets, don’t worry! This place is so beautiful and cozy and the staff were SO friendly and lovely.

Was wandering downtown with my partner looking for a place to get some breakfast and stumbled across this one. Absolutely 10/10. We got their pistachio raspberry roll and apple cinnamon roll and it was delicious! Immaculate vibes as well and the barista was so refreshingly upbeat.

Really cute bakery / cafe in Downtown Edmonton. We love that they put their excess baked goods on Too Good to Go, every time we pick up a box we also order coffees and everything has been excellent each time.

Such a lovely café! The atmosphere is incredibly cute and cozy, with charming décor that makes it the perfect place to relax, catch up with friends, or enjoy some quiet time. The space feels welcoming and thoughtfully designed, and you can tell a lot of care went into creating the vibe. The food was good as well!! Lots of options.
